Marti founded Marti Sagar Interiors with the goal of creating sanctuaries for living. Her spaces are known for their quiet wit and contemporary style that embraces today's trends.
Marti Sagar Interiors was established in 1997. Her work has included numerous residential projects including New York City, Greenwich, Conneticut, Westchester, Vermont, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Martha's Vineyard, Santa Fe and Vail.
Marti studied architecture and design at the University of Oregon. She was part of the pioneer team that developed the world class lifestyle brand ZONA , the original lifestyle home furnishings store in New York, Florence, Italy, Easthampton and Aspen. She recently has completed work in partnership with Franci Sagar on the Isabella Gardner Museum in Boston facilitating the Kilim Rugs that are seen today in the Renzo Piano addition. Product development, furniture design, global interiors have been a part of her repertoire.
Currently, she resides in Manhattan and and has just completed a modern barn conversion project in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
